whats the best oil to run in a 2001 vette??

A lot of people use the German made Castrol 0w30 with great results, if you can find it.

There isn't one that is "the best." It's really a matter of opinion. A lot of guys on here run either the German Castrol, Pennzoil Platinum, or Mobil 1.

You have to get the special Corvette oil.....they only sell it at Corvette Shops.

Just kiddin........

Just keep the oil clean and change it every 3,000 miles with a new filter. Then you can buy the cheapest off-the-shelf oil available and you'll be as good as anyone buying the best, super-duper synthetic space age technologically advanced oil on the planet (off-the-shelf stuff that is).

10w30 or 10w40 anything will work just jim dandy....your choice.
