So, when you turn the key to the ON position did you hear the fuel pump turn on?

Oh kool, what part of NJ are you from? I think you guys got hit with the weekend's rain as much as we did. Was your car parked on the street?

My car did the same thing this past Saturday night, basically went to advanced auto and wouldn't start when I came back after 10 minutes. Doesn't even crank let alone turn over.

My only assumption so far is some type of a electrical glitch that would do this.

The fuel pump makes almost like a vibration/ whirling noise that you 'll hear clearly (even better if you sit in the car and doors closed) when you turn the key to accessory.

The key goes "click" and then you hear a "whhhzzzztttt..." or something like that. I love blaming fuel pumps for non-start issues and just about everything else, including unexpected pregnancies...

Hmm no clue of why the car threw codes for cats.

what exactly were the codes.

my car started up as well but no 02 codes came up.
