Hood adjustment (see pic)
Ok, finally installed my WS6 hood, as expected, it does not align (doesn't even close ). I tried playing with the bolts, but nothing changed, i also tried adjusting those 2 things inside the bay to adjust where he hood touches....
the left side(driver) seems to be higher then the right.
anyways, I have no idea which bold i'm suppose to adjust here... or is it even this? I've numbered the bolts (idiot proof) so if anyone can give me some tip, it would be easier (ex: adjust bolt 2 & 1 only )

hmmm, i was not aware there was 2 different size hoods.
My bird is a 2001 Firebird V6.
This is an aftermarket one bought from a local shop here in Ottawa.
Hoodstretcher? Never heard of something like that, what are you talking about blinker fluid, that's just dumb.
Are you telling me this hood will not fit properly??!
if i push it down to close, it fits fine except the driver side is higher then the fender. it also does not lock when i push it down.

It is really hard to tell from the pic. The reveal on passanger side looks a little big but the whole hood needs to swing to the passanger side. I take that you have no reveal on the drivers side? When I had mine painted the paint shop couldn't get it right so when I got it home I had to ream out the hole on the hinge a little to get good fitment. It is just one of those things you have to fiddle with or you can try a paint shop. But it is way off!! Good luck

yeah maybe i'll take more pictures to give you a better idea -
i think i'll just bring it to a local shop to have them fix it...
on another notes, i had to drill a few holes too in the hood so the latch and what not could fit properly...

ok i don't know why i didn't try this before, but i raised the latch part where it locks and I Was able to close the hood.
This is how it looks closed - acceptable, everywhere else looks fine, left & right side, height. just the front looks like the gap is a bit bigger then it should be.

Alright, someone else told me i would possibly have to make the holes bigger (With a drill ) to slide the hood further down.
Guess that's what i'll do - hope i don't mess it up.
