picked up 1999 firehawk
couple quick questions. drivers side front headlight goes up halfway and tries to go up but cant without help. solution? drivers and passenger windows wont go down or up. passengers hardly does. radio goes on and off. help?

also often you can simply rotate the plastic gear 180deg and it will work again or simply replace the gear with a aftermarket brass one. that is if the problem is the gear is stripped as is common, wont help if the motors shot

Okay thank you so much. on to the next thing. Why in the world is it so hard to find stock cats for this. i live in cali and it came with no cats. In use to the mustang would with buying an h pipe that's stock to swap it on and your good can anyone fill me in?

really where have you tried looking? Your friendly neighborhood autoparts store should be able to get their hands on a reproduction piece (granted in mild steel). I never ecen considered selling used factory exhaust parts haha
I bought my car with the LT's and ORY installed already and the owner tried to skimp and not give me the stock manifolds and y pipe, i made him go to "his buddies where they did the work" the night before i arrived to be sure if i couldnt pass inspection i could atleast slap the stockers back on.

as far as the raido goes theres a thread on here somewhere about it. theres a bad solder joint in a box under the dash on the drivers side. easy fix just a pain in the *** to get out. thats my guess its a common issue and i went throught the same thing with my Trans Am

Just get the cats welded in.

im in california though. it says you have to have specific 50 states cats instead of the 49 states ones. are they going to be able to tell the difference? is there a connection i need on one of them?
