Shifter shakes really bad with WOT at high rpms??
I just got done rebuilding my transmissions and putting it in. The car runs fine and it shifts through all the gears fine. When ever I floor it, mainly in first, after it reaches 6k rpm the shifter starts to shake really bad. This seems to happen when the wheels lose some traction(I dont know if thats related). I recently changed the transmission mount and switched the position of the driveshaft. Neither really helped. What could be wrong with it??

Ya, its the hurst shifter and I switched to the Energy Suspension mount today with no luck. The old mount looked fine though and it shook with the old one too.

Mine does the same thing but only sometimes, It will be fine for a few minutes but then it comes back. I replaced the transmission mount with another factory one and I still have the same problem.

Aree you talking just a little shaking or a lot? When it gets to about 4k the shifter seems like it wants to rattle off and is very loud shaking. My friends GT doesn't do this at all. So im guessing this is normal though and not worry about it?

I dont think its normal. I have had a M6 for ten years now. Not one has it ever done that!

Do you guys have to do a pinion angle check and setup with these cars for your driveline? I'm coming from leaf spring cars....
