Default Driver Side Power Window Problem

Hi I have a 1998 z28 and my driver side and passenger side windows are having trouble going up. I usually get the driver side window half way up then I have to wait a min before it will work again to get the window all the way up. Could this be a battery issue? I have not changed it in 4 or 5 years. Or could it be a motor for the power windows? Any ideas? Thankyou

Not a battery issue, you need to replace the motor.

Where do I get another motor? Is it hard to replace?

I recommend getting on locally - with a lifetime warranty. I used www.shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

the swap is so easy dude, i had a step by step but lost it when comp crashed, basicaly you take your inner door off, support the glsas, drill out the rivets mounting the motor and install the new one with the supplied hardware, you will have to drill access holes just to get to the rivets however, so you should probably do a little searching for the step by step
