How many VIN# locations are on the FBODY. Besides the dash plate and drivers door jamb sticker?
Are these the only 2 or are there more, and where?

A vin on the block? I thought it was just the casting number in the back? I thought the only two were in the windshield and the door panel. Please correct me if I am wrong.

some manufacturers have put vins on blocks, i personally havent looked on a my fbody.....but thats how we find stolen and chopped shop cars...because the vin on the block has to match the car....

So far these are the only 2 I am awear off. Need to get a VIN verification due to a salvage title. Want to make sure all is good prior to inspection.

I have my vin an both my windows, hatch glass, and windshield as well as the dash a door. Some dealers do this for an extra cost, but mine already had them and I bought the car new....

If the car is stock and has not been painted and or had panels replaced there should be a VIN on the following locations...

Window opening on dash
Drivers side door jamb
Hood
Passenger door
Inside of both front fenders
Underside of the rear hatch

Usually the VIN is not on the motor but more so the sequencing numbers on the block match those on the car.
