Default vibration

ok so i have a vibration at about 3500 rpms and i'm not sure what it is. i can feel it in the shifter. its an a4. i was thinksing drive shaft might have thrown a weight or wheel bearing might be going bad. the exhaust is to loud to hear. if i let off the gas in 3rd gear from 90 or so. it gets worse at first but then vibraits still.

jack the rear off the ground and put it on jack stands and get it up to the speed that you get the vibration. still have it? then its in the driveline or rear wheels.

next remove the d/s and get it to the speed that you have teh vibration? still have it? then i dont know what to tell ya.

i tried every thing i could think of, and the d/s was the last think i checked, mine got messed up some how, nwt i have one made by PST

mine had a bad vibration at about 85-120 mph in the shifter at first then it migrated throughout the entire car eventually. It turned out to be that my driveshaft was out of balance BAD...I took it to a drivetrain shop and they took it off for me, balanced it, and then put it back on in 2 hours for 100 bucks and now its smooth as silk at up to 140...

Have you tried putting it in neutral and revving the engine up to 3500rpms for any vibrations? That would tell you if something if loose between the block and tranny.

It's driveline for sure then. Is there any vibrations in the steering wheel, and or can you feel the vibrations in the seat?
