rotton egg smell? and no power down low???

Default rotton egg smell? and no power down low???
hey guys i jus fixed my po131 and po171 codes with new egr intake seal, anyways when i took it for a test drive i noticed my exhaust smells like rotten eggs and i have a slight vibration on idle, but the main thing is if i give it gas at low rpm, it hesitates and vibrates a little but it doesent go! like i give it gas in 5th gear and it doesent really jump like it should!! also it hesitates at some rpm ranges not all tho! the car currently has 83,000 miles could my cats be bad???? thanks alot guys

sounds like cats are plugged. didnt see anything about after market exhaust besides mufflers

naw man they are stock cats and y pipe!! i havent ever touched the cats, but i plan on doing headers with universal cats! but i just wanna mak sure its the cats!

is there any signs or anything i can look for??? i know my car never made that smell b4 and it never was hesitating at like 5k rpm and low end sucks in a high gear! i heard that the cats will glow red if there clogged is this true

i also noticed that with my air condition on it shakes like crazy!! about to stall

no problem ever!! im going to replace my bank 1 sensor 1 tomaorw! let me see if i still hav this problem. but yea i never had a problem wit the cats b4

but dont u guys think that it will throw a check engine light from the second set of o2's telling the pcm the cats hav a problem???

Code P0420 is for a bad driver's side cat, I just got that code on Monday. From what I have read on this site GM will warranty the cats for 10 years / 120k. A buddy of mine got a letter from GM a few years ago about extenting his warranty on cats for his Z28.
