Default Evap Purge Valve

Do any of your purge valves have a 5mm play at the ends? Is it supposed to fully tight?

When I checked this valve on another TA, it was completely tight with absolutely no play. In the bottom pic, the distance between the yellow ring cap on the intake end and the illuminated ring directly above is the available space that the piece is able to slide in and out (about half a cm).

You can feel a looseness on the ends of your plastic tube as well? Have you gotten any evap leak codes?

Do you have rough idling? I read that if you have misfires when driving, you'll get a flashing check engine light...

It should be a lil loose. This shouldn't cause drivibility problems.
