Default JET HOT HEADERS

Has anybody bought a pair of headers from Jet Hot??? I just got off the phone with them and they quoted me a price of $504 for the set. I think I might call back later today and order the set but I would like to know if anyone else has bought a set and if they were happy with them. Thanks in advance.

I just had a set installed last week, I couldn,t be happier. I also used the Jet Hot ORP. Every thing went in very easily. No issues. The install took less than 5 hours. I'm going to dyno in a week or two, there feels like a major power gain. Hopefully 25 HP. I was running 360 RWHP with the Comp 216/220 and all the other bolt ons before the header install. Make sure you get the Stage 8 locking bolts.

They are a pretty good price. Only real issue with them is they fit kinda close in a couple of spots. Pretty close to the heater box and then one spot under the car.

I've had them on for about 5 months, only issues is they fit tight under the car and bang on the frame when I get on it hard going uphill?!? Remember that you will also need a y-pipe, the stock y won't fit. Also, you'll need O2 simulators and possibly new gaskets if you have a bunch of miles on your car.

The headers make a car sound 100% better in my opinion. I don't have tuning yet and I gained about .25 and 2.5 mph in the quarter, probably almost 20 hp. Great mod.

Yes. The cats go inside the Y-pipe so a visual check may be hard to pass.

I second the fact that they fit up close to the bottom of the car. My JEt hots w/ catted y are in. I am just waiting for my O2 extension for the rear passenger cat. I will be trying not to run O2 sims.
Basically you need 2 24" o2 extensions for the fronts and one for that back passenger if you arent running sims.

I hope my headers and y dont bang. I did install a poly motor mount on the drivers side while the manifolds were out. I hope it will give the stiffness I need not to bang.

I love mine! The Y-pipe was a little close on the drivers side, so i made a cushion of high temp rubber hose and a large clamp. Could probably bend the Y-pipe down a little and stop it, but haven't really tried.

I love mine. They sound awsome with my hooker cat-back and no cats. They are way better in form of were the O2 sensors are compared to the Hooker LT's. The hookers are on the outside. Make sure you get the extensions. Easy to install...

Thanks for all the feedback. I placed the order at the end of last week and they should be here within the next two days. Will get them put on later this week. Will drop the cats and convert to true dual. I'm starting to get excited.

I used a 12" and 24" extension for my front O2's. If your get the ORY pipe, you will have a lot of rasp. If you don't like the sound you can purchase a billet muffler (dynomax 3" dia - 12" length, $35)and place it where the resinator used to be on your stock exhaust to de-annoy its sound. Mine also have slight (very slight) surface rust. I noticed the rust starting appear after a few drives with the car. But from what I've read, its common.
