ported throttle body

Wondering if anyone had any experience with these throttle bodies.

Also looking at new era porting or s2 performance ones

the first one is from a well known porter on this site. but the shaner throttle bodies are great too

I used to have a Ported TB from Janzter on my Z28. I liked it...

Ill probably be getting another 1 from him, powdercoated red for my SS soon.

I bought mine from the second link. overall was a great transaction. I had a little bit of a problem with the idle hanging at first but it seems to have gotten better.

I got mine done by "Damien" on this site, I think he stopped porting though.

Regarding the gains, throttle reponse got better. I don't know about overall power gains though. The best way I can say it, is that once you put a ported TB on you wont want to put your stock one back on.
