Default question for those who have LT's

do you guys keep that y pipe holder that holds the ypipe from drivers side to passenger side? reason Im asking is because my ypipe is hitting it so its metal to metal and im wondering if you guys removed it.

if not i will try to put some heater hose in between the pipes

are you talking about the small crossmember behind the y-merge? you can do without it.

hooker lt's and i believe the ypipe is a hooker aswell.

the thing is I didnt do motor mounts so I get the banging (fixed that) but I believe the ypipe is rubbing agains the tunnel brace.

I left it on but bent it down and away to prevent banging. But, as stated above, the thing is so flimsy that you wonder what value it has.
