Default cutout gains installed on a stock exhaust?

I just got my new cutout welded in place yesterday on my factory WS6 exhaust and I gotta say I'm pretty stoked I was worried it might sound like crap but I actually like it, its almost too loud lol. Anyway I was just curious if anyone has done a before and after dyno of an open cutout vs. stock headers and exhaust because I've heard the factory muffler is really restrictive. So far I cant really feel a difference in power but I figure I've got to be gaining a little bit right? Oh yea my mods are in my sig

My car when it was more stock went from like 318 to 324 hp with a cutout on the stock catback. Back to back pulls.

on a stock car, you can see anywhere between 4-7 RWHP...

on a car with an aftermarket c/b, H?C you can see anywhere from 15-30RWHP.. All depends on what c/b you have..

Hope this helps a bit?

it matters what stock exhaust you have...

my car stock z28 exhaust i gained 2 mph when i was full bolt ons at the track with back to back runs...

now if you have a factory slp exhaust like the SS i imagine gains will be in the single digits...
