Dyno Test: LSX-R 102mm FAST Intake on 100% STOCK LS7!
I had a fun day in the Texas heat today, swapping out my intake manifold just to get you all some actual results.
100% showroom stock 2009 Z06 (mine).
Before and after tests of the new FAST 102mm LSX-R intake manifold.
Just for fun, we also did before/after with the Killer Bee installed too.

Whew!
I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Nice gains for being a bone stock car. I wonder why throwing a 90/90 on a ls1 won't yield those kind of results. Even with a cam on stock heads a 90/90 doesn't do much. Nice job on planetlsx.

Nine, as a co-founder you have to be aware of the two other posts with this intake. One positive and one negative. The positive post was from a very reputable outfit, but was also selling these intakes. I still believed their results because of their credibility and reputation. I don't know much from the other tester, as far as reputation and cred. But their test was negative.
So you have two conflicting results. Now, you post up a good write up with graphs to back it up. I have read your posts on this forum and others and they seem knowledgeable and straightforward. So with that said, I would lean toward the FAST claims of improvement at the fly of 31hp and 26tq with this IM.
I had my LS7 manifold ported by a reputable porter but saw minimal gains. Now I'm considering this manifold as a viable option.
Thanks for the post.

We dyno tested the intake yesterday on a mostly stock car (Killer Bee as well) and saw the same gains!

It has the FAST potential. Can't wait to start seeing some results from well ported FAST setups

I have dealt with SDPC when I was building my LS7, good rep and cred and I trust your evaluations. I didn't see that post.
This is looking better, 3 positives to one neg.
Oh BTW Jason, how much coin is that shine job ?
My car is Hugger Orange and that looked similar.
