I have it, it sounds really good. No drone, no rasp when warm, and its not too loud or too quiet. I am willing to sell it as I will be running true duals when I buy long tubes.

A friend of mine had it. Sounded really good with the stock y pipe and manifolds. When he switched over to LTs with ORP, it was kinda raspy. He ended up switching to the SLP dual/dual to help control the raspiness with the ORP.

I've got a sound clip but don't have any way to host it, I've got a 2.5Mb and a 10Mb file.

LT's, cats and magnaflow ... sounds badass.

103 Db at idle, at 5 ft behind the car (have a decible level meter) ... If I step on it alittle bit, my friends always say they can hear me coming from blocks away ... Rev next to cars = set alarms off.

I bought the magnaflow as a happy medium between the Loudmouth and some of the quieter exhaust systems. I didn't want something that was obnoxiously loud, or quiet like the stock system. Magnaflow does the job great ... nice deep throaty sound, no resonance, and the big chrome tips still look great after a year and a half.

I've gone through 3 cat-back systems (and that POS flowmaster muffler), and I am the most pleased with the magnaflow.

I have Magnaflow w/stock manifolds and cats. IMO it's a little too quiet. I used to have Borla a few years ago and it sounded great. Maybe I need some LT's to liven it up.

Yes I agree ... It is pretty quiet with the stock manifolds ... you need LT's.

sound wise i dont think so. on stock manifolds i had flowmasters and i think it had a deeper sound then my magnaflows even with the LT's.

if you want a better flowing exhuast then you cant beat magnaflow, its rated as one of the top flowing catbacks out there.

flowmaster sounds good but it ends up being a bottle neck when you get serious with mods.

What? Flowmaster is rated as one of the WORST flowing cat-back systems ... which is why you hear the term "flowmiser" thrown around this board so often. SLP loudmouth and open borla are the best flowing.

LOL ... gotch ya. I was wondering where that was coming from since everything I have ever read put flowmaster slightly below the stock SS/WS6 catback.

Yeah, magnaflow does flow almost as good as the ones I mentioned above ... you have to remember that the above mentioned are also open systems ... no muffler (borla has a muffler but it is essentially bypassed when you open the plate).

Does the magnaflow sound just as good with LTs and ORY but just the muffler, without the whole catback? Thats what i plan on running plus the cutout. I dont see a point in spending all the money for a catback when i am just going to open my cutout when i race. What do ya'll think?
