Can anyone tell me (see pic) if i have the correct fitting so that i can tap the passanger side head? It looks right to me...

The plug so to say is supposed to be 1/8" NPT to M12x1.5... The one that i recieved with my kit looks like that one???

its easy cheezy. you may have some colant spill out on ya. are you using a lift? when i did mine i was at a buddies shop and we got at it from underneath. i think that is a big torx or something so make sure you have the right tool. ditto on the gauge manufacturer? pm if needed but that is sharp! looks like a good kit.

cant tell by a pic. i bought an adapter fitting from some online shop and it threaded into the head fine and the sensor, but i had to drill out the bottom a touch so the sensor would thread all the way in. you are not using an auto meter gauge or sensor so they may be totally different. the important thing is if it is right for your gauge.

i was waiting for you to respond. When i did a search, all you suggested was to put it in the TB by pass....

The most accurate reading is going to be in the head

You can always go to Lowes/Home Depot and put it on the little bolt sizing boards they have. See which size fits it. Seems like a fail-proof way of finding out. Where the heck did you get that gauge though?! So clean!

The driver side sensor is super easy to get to, pull it out and take it with you to compare. And I am waiting on that PM! Haha!

Still see if it will fit without, popping the hood and just giving it a shot won't cost anything. Honestly, I think it is the right size, LS1s are too popular to screw up.

To my knowledge, both heads are identical. If you know where the driver-side coolant temp is (directly in front of the flange of header/manifold, little plastic thing), pull that out and see.

If I recall it is 12x1.5 I ordered mine from autobarn. I got to mine from the bottom as well. I had a lift so it was pretty easy. I think it was a 8 Allen wrench
