Exhaust Backfiring after Header install?
I just installed Flowtech LT headers along with the TSP X pipe and replaced the plugs an wires as well and now whenever i downshift and the rpms get lower i can hear lots of small backfires and they're one after another, it also backfires when i get on it and shift and when i start it up on the occasion. The car is untuned and at the moment thats my only idea, anyone got any others?

mine did the same thing, welcome to free flowing exhaust
and no a tune wont necessarily help, it may actually make it worse if you run more rich. don't worry though it doesn't really mean there's something wrong.

Its burning gas if anything but ill check all of my plugs and wires. Threre arent any performance issues as far as i can tell becaue it definitly has more power after the install.

I run Kooks long tubes and their off road Y pipe through GMMG exhaust and it back fires and pops a lot! I like it myself! I'd like it even better if it throw flames!

So i finally swapped out all plugs and wires and it still backfires like a ****, and my ses light comes on and off for the post cat sensors and my air meter, could that cause these backfires?
