Default 99 TB on an 02

Hi guys my throttle body is ported and is having some small idle issues with the blade sticking etc theyre nothing major and returning it really isnt an option. So I found a used stock one from a 99 car, mine is an 02, question is can I use it on my car even though the TB cam is different?

yes you can. you can either swap the cams from your TB, or let your throttle cable out a little bit. just when you let it out, make sure when the accelerator pedal is pushed all the way to the floor, your TB is opening all the way. sometimes this works, sometimes it doesnt. ive had it happen both ways. in the instance where it wouldnt open all the way, i had to switch the cams.

jus wondering was the car that it worked on a car with asr? reason i ask is that the asr cars have an adjustment in the cable while the regular ones dont. I could swap cams but I have a question on the inside of my TB where the shaft sits flush with the housing on the sides of the tps sensor is nicked up from a grinder used to ddo the half shaft i guess, will this cause any vac leaks on the tps side resulting in the high idle?

heres a pic to help out its where the shaft actually sits into the housing its a little bit nicked up idk that it would do anything because its sealed up by the tps sensor but i just wanted to be sure. http://s215.photobucket.com/albums/c...current=tb.jpg

The non asr cars have an adjustment as well. Its down close to where the throttle cable goes thru the firewall.
