Default Maf

I have a LS6 motor from a 2002 Pontiac TA. Can i run the stock Z06 Maf (Delphi)? Reason im asking is the motor doesn't have a maf so i need to get one.

02 T/A's have LS1's.

Look in the classifieds for maf's, but yes, the Z06 maf is actually an upgrade for us.

Thanks for the reply. I did some searching but did not come up with a definite answer. Yes, i have the firebird formula motor (ls6) so i wanted to run a bigger maf, like the ls6 z06 delphi maf.

What you can do is get the part number from it and then search the classifieds or check out the Sponsers we have on here. Ebay could be your last resort? Good luck

Lol, no man you don't have an LS6. No F body's were born with LS6's. They were used in the following applications: 2001-2004 Z06 and 2004-2005 CTS V-Series; someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, ALL V8 powered F body's came with the SAME ENGINE, the LS1. There is no Z28 motor, no SS motor, no Formula Motor, no Trans-Am motor, no Firehawk motor, no VTEC TTi motor-they all received LS1's...

in 2002, 1 in 4 came stock with the LS6 intake...It's an LS1 with out any egr basically...Power rating was upped from 320 to 325. Not like the rating matters, GM under rates most of there vehicles by up to 15 percent anyway. You'd end up getting the net rating or close to it at the wheels. Net hp is upwards of 350 to 360 depending on application. Hope this helps

Correct, in 2002 there was a surplus of LS6 motors and some of those motors ended up in Pontiac TAs. I happen to have one of those rare motors.
