ls6 intake vs fast
I am planning on upgrading my injectors and getting a ported throttle body. I was wondering if it would be beneficial for my set up to install a fast intake. I have a stock short block with tsp torquer3, prc 2.5 5.3 heads, stock ls6 intake, underdrive pulley, long tube headers, ory and magnaflow catback. It put down 420 rwhp and 395 tq. I know it would help out but it is hard to spend $800-1700 (depending on 92/92 or 102/102 with new fuel rails) for 10 rwhp. I am just looking for some opinions to help me make up my mind.

Well you have an ls6 now so I would just leave it... The main question is if you are really needing that extra 10hp to achieve a goal of yours or if you could live with out it... Fast intakes are nice but IMO not 1000$ nice! You could easily put that money towards other go fast parts or a new tv for your house or for a house if you don't have one or a girlfriend(last one is not suggestive but is an option lol)! You can fo alot with that kinda money if your only looking at 10 to 30hp! JM2C!

I have a solution!
FOR SALE: I HAVE A USED LS2 INTAKE REMOVED FROM A 06 C6 CORVETTE. I PURCHASED FROM A GUY BUT NEVER USED. I ALSO HAVE A NEW NEVER USED 95 MM THROTTLE BODY FROM JANTZER PERFORMANCE. I NO LONGER NEED THESE PARTS AND I AM ASKING $500 FOR BOTH SHIPPED. BUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE JUST ONE OF THEM. THEN THE INTAKE IS $175 PLUS $15 FOR SHIPPING AND THE THE THROTTLE BODY IS $350 PLUS $10 FOR SHIPPING.

The main question is , do you go to the track enougth to justify the extra money for it. I asked the same question back awhile ago, everyone said keep my BBK. I put down the numbers in my sig with the BBK. Going to the track this friday to see what it will do. I only go to track once or twice a year so in my opinion its not worth it.
