Default muffler choice (ya ya i know, but i searched)

so im looking for what mufflers to use on my LSX swapped 94 camaro

i have long tubes and a x pipe (rest of mods in sig) but what mufflers?

i want something thats quite down low (i have a 3500 stall and dont need to get pulled over leaving stop signs) and screams up top

right now i have a set of flowmaster 1 chambers (not on yet but in my possession) but my dad seems to think they will be way too loud and that i wont make it through town without a ticket

who can help me out here? ive tried listening on LS1sounds but cant seem to find any quite down low and screaming up top

You could always go for a set of those terminator mufflers that have the cutout built into it. Just cap it up for the street and take it off for the strip.

I have Single chamber flowmaster, true dual with pacesetter headers. No x or h because of body mount TA and it sounds like pure sex. I havent had anytrouble with mine in san antonio for the last 3 weeks. I have put about 300 miles on the car since the exhaust was put on.

The terminators are a little more tame than a 40 series FM.

I have the Dynomax Bullets on my TSP Duals. They are pretty mellow down low and scream like hell when you get on it.

I have the single chambers and they are loud as hell but I'm also running a larger cam. They do sound absolutely amazing though!

Here is a vid on the dyno. For some reason it wouldn't let me embed it...

Don't you mean the warlock mufflers? I'll be using them in my true dual build. I'm hoping they won't be too loud with the plugs in them. If they are then I plan on welding up my own pair of something similar to those dynatech cone inserts.

I've got H/C and it's still kind of mellow when cruising but it does scream when you get on it. TSP Rumbler CB for me, same Dynomax Bullet muffler. Still might be a little loud for ya..

Here's a dyno vid.

I always thought that my tsp duals sounded really quiet until the other day when I let somebody start up my car and I could hear it from 40+ yards while INSIDE of a busy convenient store.

^yeah, I stood outside for one of my pulls and holy hell! It's only a single muffler on the cat-back, but it's still pretty loud up top! It'll get people's attention. I use the skinny pedal more than the horn. ****, it was ear bleeding loud just in that dyno bay.
