Default What else do i need? Long tube install

2002 TA, M6, 51,000 mile

I got ARH 1 7/8 RACE headers on the way + ORY
Poly Motor mounts, Poly Trans Mount.

Should i get Rear Vette 02's, or extenstions for my stock ones.

Im newish to the LS1 scene, (coming from turbo buicks)

Does anything need to be blocked off in term of EGR or AIR?

im just finishing my header install up as well. I am reusing stock gaskets and bolts. You will need some band clamps for your Y-pipe i would assume. I am going to be getting some rear vette o2's since they seem to be better for LT applications anyways.

Your car is a 2002 so it doesnt have EGR. Only thing needed to block off AIR is a 1 1/8 expandable freeze plug or similar for the lid. That should be it. Hope this helps

The ARH's should come with O2 extensions, and they were plenty long when I did my install. I pulled the AIR system, and had it tuned out. There will be one small vacuum line that needs to be blocked once you pull the AIR. It is towards the back driver side of the intake. I am assuming you have an aftermarket lid.

You also might want to think about getting new plugs and wires.

Since you went to the expense of ARH stainless headers, I'd buy stainless header bolts. I got some cheap stainless ones off Summit for $18 and they worked perfectly.
New GM exhaust gaskets $30 (you can call a GM dealership and buy them).
New spark plugs. I got TR55 for $18 shipped from Rockauto.com.

I found how to block the lid hole, what about the manifold?

You bought race headers, you have nothing to block on them.

You can get a plug for your Intake Manfiold EGR hole on WS6store.
