can you use a cai if u already have ram air??

Default can you use a cai if u already have ram air??

i wondering if i can install the slp cai on my 98 ss, i think it would work but just push alot of air into the car, but then it might just be awast of time for the cai.

The SS ram air isn't really that functional, it works more as a heat extractor according to InstallUniversity. The SLP and Fast Toys CAI are supposed to work very well for the F bodies.

I had the SSRA back in the day on my Camaro and saw a solid 2mph gain with it.

I have both, sort of. All you can hope for is low inlet
restriction and low air temps. All that's left of my SLP
CAI is the plate and about 2" of the neck, the rest is
cut off and cobbled up to pull from above the divider
panel.

All it did in the end, is relieve one of the many minor choke
areas in the lineup.

If your looking for a ram air kit look into the chris1313 kit from speedinc. It works great.

is it possible to suck in water with one of these things if you ran through a puddle or something?
