Default Trying to calm my "dynomouth" down some

Id like to quiet this thing down some and kill some of this rasp. Been considering going with 2 flowmaster race muffler/magnaflow bullets after the axle before my tips (I have CME) so you wont see alot. It'll be similar to the powerflow conversion but I wonder if this will help quiet it down some? Anyone with a similar setup here

I looked at them but I don't think I'll have the room to make them fit. I'll probably end up ditching the lm stuff and getting a over the axle true dual setup fabbed up.

I think the cats maybe my best bet now. Trying to figure if I should just buy a tsp catted y or have one done at a exhaust shop.

I started with Pacesetter long tubes and Y, ran back to the stock after-axle. It was rasssssppppyyy. Sounded like poo. I switched up to dual bullets and it was still raspy, so I had the exhaust shop cat my Y pipe. Sounds perfect now.

Flowmaster hushpower mufflers? Cats will definitely cut out rasp. A good merge in the y-pipe (like flowmaster) will also cut rasp.

The tsp y pipe has a really good merge but it hangs so freaking low,I swear I would have more clearence with true duals compared to the y,its a good y pipe it does its job but way to low

If you want to get rid of rasp all together get a flowmaster merge and have your exhaust shop put it on your current y pipe. Putting cats on a shitty y pipe is like doing double damage. You restrict the flow with cats then smash the exhaust together with a shitty y pipe. Look up "recipe to 500rwhp" from patrickg. He has a lot of good information on "Y" pipe exhaust setups during his quest to 500 at the wheels.
