Default TSP True Duals

Im going to be ordering one of TSP's True dual systems for my 2000 Z28. Im trying to decide if i should go with the TSP bullets or the Moroso Spiral flows. Does anybody have videos of their cars with them? Those of you that have them, what do you think do you like them? Any problems with them? Also how hard is it to install the setup? Does it all clamp on to the long tubes or is there welding required? Feedback appreciated. Thanks

I have the spiral flows, they arent that loud, kinda sound like a cross between flowmaster and bullets. I like them

It was a bitch to get them lined up correctly and to tuck up against the body. I had to use a floor jack to pop the pipes together. I think its because I was missing a part and used a price from my y pipe

Hmm i might go with the TSP Bullets. I want it as loud as possible. Does the x pipe jst clamp onto the headers? and how do you go about the exhaust hangers?

+1 on the sweet thunders! IMO they sound the best and are pretty loud, I LOVE mine! Bullets will be loudest, Spiral flows will be quietest and I don't really like the sound of em. I have a set of pacesetters with tsp true duals and sweet thunders and I will never go back to a Y, even after I cam it haha. Pretty easy to install but nice to have an extra set of hands or two for support when clamping it on. No welding required! All slip fit pipes with clamps and it all comes with it. Dumps and hangars are welded onto the mufflers already. All you need to do is take off the back seats and drill holes for the hangars and get bolts/washers to hang them. When putting them on, slip all the pipes into eachother and clamp them, except for the headers, together but not tight and lift it up as a whole, then just clamp them to the headers, bolt the hangars, and adjust it for fitment and tighten. Much easier that way. Hit me up if you need any more tips or anything. Heres a shot and a few videos but of course they dont do it justice!

I agree on the sweetthunders they sound the best on these cars period, will still be loud just have a better sound imo,the bullets sound good also, but I'm going with ST,I had a thread awhile back (clearance with tsp duals) search for it there is a lot of good pics and suggestions on how to install them, pretty much keep everything lose ,use a floor jack to move them up and tighten,(short version)

TSP sells a ready made system or you can make your own duals with an X-pipe from Summit.....sweet thunder makes sweet thunders, check out their website or i'm sure some of the sponsors carry them......i'd like to hear a catback with a single 3-4" sweet thunder muffler in the i-pipe, it'd probably sound pretty good

Running TSP duals w/ bullets and ****** love it. I got rid of my magnaflow for duals and magnaflow isnt even in the same sentance.

The bullets are pretty loud, but tolerable. The sound is amazing though. Its not raspy either. It gives you a real strong muscle sound for sure. Basically when your crusing its somewhat on the quiet side honestly.. It has a muscle sound that is waiting to be unleashed when you floor it..LOL.

Haha exactly...no rasp whatsoever with duals, you just get this amazing deep v8 sound and its awesome! Like he said too, when you're crusing and light on the gas, its not very loud but you can hear that ls1 ready to go but when you step on it, all hell breaks loose! ..just another advantage of duals

TSP True duals with the short bullets/dumps. I did have spriral flows first and didn't really like them. Sounded to much like a 5.0 mustang.

Put this setup with dynomax bullets on a buddies car over the weekend.

He had been running open headers with 1ft pieces of pipe to help save the o2 sensors. It is barely any quieter with the duals than it was like that, but the tone is 1000x better.

It sounds like pure angry sex...makes me want to take my mufflers off and order some bullets for mine.

I think we need to work on his some more sometime though, seems like it needs to slide forward about an inch and then can probably tuck closer on the driver side.

Yeah man no doubt. It was pretty tough to imagine that it has no rasp as fbodies are notorious for being a raspy, and throaty car.

I took my buddy for a ride, and i was talking to him, and he was like " Hey you need to text me, i cant hear a word your saying". LOL. i was like its not that loud dude..LOL.

But i truly like the sound of it for sure. Also the sweet thunders are sick..i actually wanted to run sweet thunders, but i hear those were a bit louder than the bullets.
