Default Which Headers?

I'm looking to buy a set of headers soon for my 00' T/A, and need some advice on which ones.
I just had the stock catalytics replaced so I'm assuming if im going to keep them on I can't run long tubes? Will I get as an aggressive sound with shorties?

Any advice on this area would be appreciated.

dont bother with shorties or mids. get LTs. i prefer KOOKS or ARH though pacesetter is a very popular choice.

pacesetters are gonna be your most afordable option, You could maybe scab your converters into an ORY pipe if ya want to keep em.

Kooks or ARH wouls be your most pricey but top of the line. Pacesetters are one of the best if not most bang for the buck.

But i would highly look into the TSP 1 7/8 headers.

If you have the cash, get KOOKS or ARH. If your on a budget get TSP or Pacestters.

Are the replacement Cats still new enough / not damaged where you can get them off and return them ?

As Raron455 said, a good shop may be able to do something with the replacement Converters.

Do some research on the search engine here and google. Good Luck man.

Also keep in mind you ground clearance, if you're lowered, or plan to lower your car.
I've also got the BBK LT's (ceramic coated), They fit great, and offer better than stock ground clearance, and the price is low.

And yes, if ARH or Kooks are in your budget get them!

This. TSP headers are a great mod. Little harder to install than pacesetters due to their larger primaries, but give great gains. I have that with their ORY and really have no real complaints.

I just installed pacesetters on my 02 ws6 and a tsp ory and both fit very well as well as a good ground clearance considering they are long tubes but like stated before go LONG TUBES!!

i put in some BBK's over the summer and honestly they fit like a glove, no fitmet issues at all...and for the price the chrome ones are still blinging haha they are about 400$ and are one of the best headers out there that hardly any one uses but are a big big improvement.

You guys running headers/ORY/catback...

Dont your cars smell like gas without the cats/have a rasp??

I've cant freaking decide weather to pay the extra money to TSP and get the catted y-pipe and I think I'd rather just go with the ORY, but I cant deal with a gasoline smell/rasp.

i can only speak from my experience but i just put flowtech ceramics on mine with their ORY and the fitment is awesome, they tuck up underneath really tight, i bought a mufflex y pipe bracket for $40 and it stopped the y pipe from hitting part of the subframe that almost every aftermarket y pipe does when you install LT's, they are pretty affordable too

I went ARH 1 7/8" on my 00 Fbody into a 4" mufflex with a 4" straight through Magnaflow. The ARH fit Perfect and I love the sound !

On my truck, I pulled the plug today and ordered Kooks with their Y pipe

I'll prolly cut the end of the Y for True duals as I have 2, 3" magnaflows in the attic waiting for install..

Either Kooks or ARH, you can't go wrong.

Just had a set of ARH longtubes w/ory pipe and Vengeance chambered exhaust put on. ARH are extremely well made, fit, finish and weld quality are superb. The car is 1.5 inches low from stock and absolutely no clearance issues. I am very happy with the purchase. The sound is pretty damn awesome as well.

The gasoline smell is because the car needs a tune due to the headers. As for the sound, the catted y gets rid of a lot of rasp but IMO quiets these cars down too much if you have a stock cam.
