I am thinking about the ws9 hood from VFN, I was originally going to get a Chris1313, but should I just get hood and a new intake at the same time? Thanks guys!

the hood has nothing to do with a intake setup, a chris1313 will fit on a regular trans am hood it does not pull the air threw the inlets in the hood it pulls it from underneath the car.

I was looking to see if I could do a ram air application through my hood. and if performance might be better through that

in all honesty the ram air hood is nothing but a sales pitch. i have a vfn ws9 and i got it only for appearance purposes, nothing to do with performance. i mean im sure it has a small amout to do with cooling the engine bay, but performance wise i doubt it.

most people get race car hoods to clear higher intakes and things like that, the chris1313 will fit on any car, i think suncoast made somekind of ram air kit that makes the hoods functional, its up to you but i see it more for looks than anything else, these cars pull air from the bottom not the top
