where is the best spot to weld a wideband bung?

Default where is the best spot to weld a wideband bung?
right now mine is in my y pipe.. is it better to put it right after the 02 sensor in the header?

i put mine next to the collector on my driver side longtube header.. From my understanding, the driver side (bank) runs leaner than the passenger side and is alot safer to run the wideband there..

You want it as close to the header as possible in whichever bank runs leaner. On a fbody that should be the drivers side IIRC.

Mine is in the I-pipe by the trailing edge of the passenger's
door. I don't want to see one bank or the other, but both.

Thats where I put mine as well. No problems here, it's been right on with the dyno jet wide band the tuner sticks in the tail pipe.
