car wont crank need help asap plz, need car moved asap
ok so first ill list what i have done to the car, then what is going wrong so that you can have a full idea of what might be going on.
*replaced:
crank sensor
intake gaskets
torque converter
starter / starter solenoid
throttle body
tps sensor, first 1 was bad, second 1 works
idle air control
egr & air delete
fuel filter
racetronix fuel pump 255lph
oil & transmission fluid
oil filter
transmission filter & pan gasket
pcv oil catch can
new battery
u joints
this is all the new stuff.....
*old mods:
slp lid
02 sims
cat gut
msd wires i made
3" magnaflow cat back
all free mods
transmission cooler inline with factory
*i have the hot wire kit for the fuel pump but i haven't put it on yet
*blew compressed air threw the lines to clear out any old gas that might have been in there (disconnected line at motor and filter)
injectors where all clogged i cleaned them and now all injectors are operating
tested with noid light all injectors are getting signal
current problems
found out the TPS SENSOR is not being picked up by the computer for some reason, and when its unplugged it still is not throwing a code for it
**replaced works now
the car was throwing a code for the crank sensor so i replaced it and deleted the code now the code not coming back so i think it solved that issue "still have to re test the coil packs now"
seems that still not all coils are firing
***UPDATE***
the car is only getting 40 psi @ the fuel rail, "think cause is bad in tank regulator"
**update: after cleaning injectors the fuel rail pressure is now @ 35 psi with a very slight leak down in pressure over night to 0 "think its due to 1 of the injectors o rings has a slight leak"
[ordered in tank regulator] should be here soon
coil 4,5,7,8 are firing. 1,2,3,6 are not firing checked via spark tester (swapped coils around same cylinders firing)
car tries to start after i turn the key for about 3-8 seconds then dies
"spins over good almost fires up to a decent idle but quickly falls to a almost cam looping then bogs and dies"
"if i use starter fluid takes a second to fire gets up to regular idle then falls as listed above"
**results for "trigger wire" from pcm to coils and spark test without "plug wires"
after testing coils had a intake backfire also blew the valve cover seals out but did not damage them
idk if this could be part of the problem but this is how my pcv is set up after air & egr delete
also the "check gauges" light is on idk if this matters ?
and the ses light is on pretty sure because of the egr delete
i do not have access to a code scanner
also car was setting for bout 3 years
update reason car was sitting for 3 years
ok well i had pulled the motor, because i thought i had a rod knocking turned out that when i had previously pulled the transmission to replace the front and rear seal, i did not tighten the torque converter bolts tight enough. so i get every thing all put back together, start driving it around suddenly the car starts to wanna die if i let it idle. so i hurry back towards my house
and i hear something brake a start banging around as if a bolt where flying around in my bell housing, the car suddenly just powers down completely, no dash light wont crank back up nothing
turns out half of the mount on the starter broke off, not thinking that was the cause of such a power loss i pull the car apart again transmission out intake off looking around checking things, ran out of money, moved upstate so car ended up sitting for 3 years, an now here we are
also there is no radio in the car idk if this matters ?
i have replace nearly everything on the car as listed above

besides i would be nice enough to inform the people helping my that i fixed it if that where to be the case
seeing how im very grateful for there help, unlike your comment
he ended up not being able to find the scanner wire to plug in to the lap top, but i rented the noid ligt, and bought a spark tester,
also cleaned out my injectors 7 out of 8 where clogged, much closer now to firing up,
still trouble shooting the spark tho
besides i would be nice enough to inform the people helping my that i fixed it if that where to be the case
