Default Proform LS valve covers

Hi guys
I've been looking for some cast aluminum valve covers for my LSX 427 build and I came accrost the Proform ones, they look like the GM Performane covers and appear to be made under some type of GM / Proform license agreement.

My question is has any one used them yet and are they any good?

Thanks
Jason

TTT. I am looking for some tall valve covers that don't leak and dont feel like spending >$700 on covers/coil brackets/wires. These seem like a good option but would like to hear from someone who has experience with them.

So I finally got around to putting these on. I love them. They're ~1/2 the price of Katechs, well made, look great and seal great. The only thing I don't like is the oil fill hole is not the same as the stock ones, I had to turn the underside of the "erl" (redneck for oil) breather to get it on and even then it's just a press fit.

PS: Don't waste your time with the ebay covers.

IIRC I found them for ~$250 and the coil brackets were another ~$60. Then used the longer Katech wires for another $~55.

I got the orange ones and they look great and are well made, cost me $300 with the coil brackets delivered to OZ.
Haven't used them yet.

bumping an old thread because I just installed myne w/ my new motor/trans
91' mustang 418 ci 4l80e

these are great quality and fit very well, they look pretty bulky but the slant gave me a lot more clearance around the brake booster
