i bought this off ebay

I am asking for either pics of the bottom of it or a casting number from it so I can check to see if it's a true ls6 before I send him any kind of payment.

Anyone know what part number I should be expecting? I know the bottom should be flat.

Ok, did 98-00 camaro's ever come without EGR? Because the picture shown is a camaro, look @ the cowl and the STB bar, exact placement on a camaro, the cowl on the C5 is further back.

id have to say yes its an ls6 but not 100% , the pic i can see cables so it most likely was on an fbody and no fbodys came w/o egr till the ls6 but that doesnt mean squat

Yeah, SHOULD be an LS6 by what we can tell:

Cables on the TB, indicate Fbody.
If from an fbody like we assume, and not having an EGR hole would make it an LS6 intake.
However, people do weird things to cars, so one never knows for sure untill you take a look at the bottom

if that was the stock intake on that car, it was a f-body "2001+ "ls6 style" intake.
as it is a f-car motor, and f-car linkage for throttle body.

ask for the part number on the passenger side.
