Default Need help ASAP header install????

Hey guys I am installing my Jet-Hot LTs in my 99 Camaro SS, I had to remove the steering knuckle on the driver side to get the header in, now cannot get the steering knuckle back in to connect to the steering colum? Anyone have any advice????

Stop what you're doing. Go get a beer. Finish said beer. Go back to the steering knuckle. Not trying to be a smartass, sometimes you just need to step away from it and relax for a bit. There's no trick to getting that part done. Sometimes they can just be a PITA. Good luck with it.

Yeah man, take a break for a few.... its easier if you slide on the top then the bottom.

I only have one bolt off the steering knuckle is that all there is? The steering shaft has very little play in it?

Have you removed the bolt on boths ends?? If so totally remove the linkage and slide on the top part first.... the bottom will go on easier.

You have to remove the bolt nearest the steering wheel also. Once that is off you can slide it back and little, and that helps to seat the bottom section.

I had the same problem. Just do what I just said and you'll have it on in no time.
