Default FAST 92/92 questions

Plan on getting the 92/92 combo for my H/C, but I wanted to know if I should go with the ported or non ported set up?

It's just easier to get it done before you put it on. Plus the guy porting it will thank you for a nice, new, clean, intake to port on.

I agree to get it ported but ONLY by someone who knows what they're doing

Is the FAST 102 set up more beneficial than the 92 with a H/C LS1? What sponsors have the best prices with porting included and can they paint the intakes?

The 102 will be around maybe 5-8 hp better than the 92 on a HCI LS1. Check out places like Vengeance Racing and Peak Performance just to name a few

The intakes can be had in black now btw. The 102 will make more power but it will cost a lot more to get that extra power. Figure in rails and the price difference for the larger Tb as well.

Isn't that the truth. It was AWAYS in the back of my mind how much I left on the table by leaving it box-stock.

I had mine port matched to my heads when I bought my TEA heads. TEA did it for me for like $200. They claim the port matching can be worth 15-20HP... I think it's been shown by just opening them up can be worth 8-10HP, so if you have them port matched to your heads and no just opened up a little, 15+ HP sounds possible.

From what I have seen as far as port work on a FAST intake....... no one spends more time on one getting the most potential out the intake than Tony Mamo.
