New Intake Lid
I have a G2 intake lid with a K&N on my 99 Ram Air TA. The lid is beginning to get a crack in it and I am going to replace it soon. I would like any suggestions as to the best replacement. Should I get another G2, an SLP, a K&N FIPK??? Let me know what you all think as to the best I can get that will give me the most power! Thanks!

SLP Lid on my 99 WS6 fits great. No fitment issues. Also it is made of a different material than all the others, it seems more sturdy. GMHTP did a comparison a few months back and that clinched the SLP for me. $100, best fit, best dyno and looks fantastic. No doubt or regret that I made the wrong decision. So with SLP. Hope this helps.

I was considering getting the Whisper Package Deal in carbon fiber from Thunder Racing, yet no one has mentioned Whisper, from reading posts many months back Whisper was mentioned many times and seemed to be positive posts.
Wouldn't this one be a good one to go for?

I have a direct-flo.
Works for me, fit is perfect and its one of (if not THE) cheapest.
Now, if you want to spend more money to MAYBE get an extra hp or two...get the TSP.

I went with SLP. I ordered a direct flow from QMP. After 1 week I called and was told any day for two weeks, then them not responding to 4 emails over the next week, I cancelled my order. And the whole time it said" in stock" on their website. Not answering email is BS in this business. I will NOT do business with a company that cannot offer at least a next day email response.
I ordered the SLP lid from LM performance, but they emailed me the next day and said they were backordered(which I really appreciated!)
Since I need a new lid(my stock hose was jacked), I found one at New Era performance parts, they shipped the same day. Communication goes a long way in my book.
So about the lid, high quality, tight fit. A very quality piece and was on sale for $85.
