I haven't installed any on the stock K-member but I will tell you that you will have to remove the altenator and A/C compressor to get the bolts out. Not hard just a little info. If you are installing just one then I guess you could get away with just taking one side loose and jacking up the motor to install the one side ETC... It may be cheaper to get a shop to install them for you call and find out some times they are not that bad on regular stuff like that. Good luck I don't know if I help but it is all I can do for you right now.

You have to heat up the clamshell (the case holding the rubber mount) with a torch to get it apart. The old rubber burns and smokes quite a bit so plan on doing it outside unless you want your garage to stink like burned rubber for a month. The job is about a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. You might get done quick, but plan on all day and start early in case you need to get something from the parts store.

Its not a fun job if you haven't done it before. The first time I did it on my car, it took around 12 hours. When I did it on a buddy's car, it took about 2, with no header.

If you do it yourself, here's a couple of tips. Scribe the two halves so you can line them up exactly when you put them back together. Then run a drill through the holes to square them up even more and open them up a little for some more clearance. The hardest part is getting the four bolts to the block lined up again.

one thing about this mod is it makes you shifter not bob at all. almost like a stock car.

Install like these guys said. If you are competent at taking out your accessories or mayb e the headers you can do this easy.
