getting rid of the LM

getting rid of the LM
my exhaust setup are SLP LT headers, SLP High FLow cats , SLP Loudmouth with CME valence and quad tips. Now my car needs to get inspected in about 9mnths from now. Since Delaware started a decible sound test for inspection, I know with the LM i will fail. what kind of options do i have to get rid of the LM and still retain my quad tip/CME valence. I want something that sounds aggressive and not too raspy. Thanks!

borla sounds great. plus it has the plate.
I went with Hooker over true duals cause i love the sound. its quiet at idle, screams up top, good tone all the way around.
hav eyou thought about just swaping a real muffler in place of the resonator?

These sound great....I would say in order of....
1) GMMG
2) Hooker
3) Magnaflow
There are others, but they can get raspy. These sound great with cats.

Or u could put a bullet in the place of resonator, maybe a cutout before it also.
OH, sorry i see where someone said this already now
I think that would be the cheapest and easiest. and with the cutout you wont lose any performance from the muffler. Plus you can have it LOUD when you want it and still always pass the test.

what i did was buy a hooker aero chamber muffler, cut where the y splits over the axle and make a pipe for the inlet and cut the 2 tailpipes and welded in the muffler just like a hooker catback would look like, cost me 80 bucks for the muffler and 80 bucks for the welding.. this would be a lot cheaper than buyin g another catback, besides the hooker catback of course..why buy a 600 dollar borla when you can weld in a muffler..just my 02..and btw it's nice and quiet now!! even after the LT's..
