That does sound great! What exactly is done to the car though? Stock internals? Headers (brand)? Cats/no cats? And is that Borlamouth set-up an SLP Loudmouth with a Borla XR1 muffler in place of the resonator? Just curious because it did sound badA$$...
Thanks,
Mike

well the volume didnt seem to change alot. the exhaust was more refined and just as deep as before. FUll throttle actually sounds better IMHO. It felt like i picked back up some low end torque too.I havent ran it since my changes.

oops. I did not ever have a loudmouth exhaust. i had a guy make me a custom Y after the I pipe to mimic the loudmouth and thats where i originally had my bullet placed. Hardtop00SS welded my borla in the same spot where my bullet was. I cant imagine the real loudmouth sounding any different than what i had
Hardtop00SS's exhaust sounds so much better than mine. even when he had the GMMG. now he's got a Mufflex exhaust with a dynomax something muffler on it with a turndown. It soounds mighty fine!

I agree, those XR-1s refine the sound alot. After I installed LT headers with ORY my Borla cat-back sounded like crap. That is until I put a Borla XR-1 in the I-pipe right in back of the ORY. Now it just sounds amazing!

Yup. You should hear mine with a nasty cam and Hooker LTs/ORY...downright evil when at idle. I've had guys literally run over to my car and ask what's in it...too bad not many chicks have the same reaction

I dunno, the one thing I've noticed about the GMMG is that it does a great job of keeping the sound outside the car and not within...I've experienced very, very little drone with it and used it on three different cars now (including with LT's & highflow cats on my LS1 as well). The Loudmouth I used to have a long time ago had a noticeable and annoying drone though.
