K&N FIPK intake kit worth it?
Just wondering how everyones experiences using the K&N FIPK kit was. Ive found it online for about $250 shipped. Before I spend the cash, Just wondering what people thought of it. any Dyno sheets for an 02? If there's something better, please post that too. Thanks

I think the general consensus seems to be just what Jeramie said. I think a clear lid looks a lot better than the K&N kit anyway. Mine looks sweet with the blue Holley Powershot filter. All in all they perform the same and one is a lot cheaper. I think that makes the decision easy.

I have the FIPK, and it comes down, really, to: Do you want to spend the extra money for the look? That's the biggest difference. I personally preferred the look of the FIPK filter as opposed to a replacement lid, and I was willing to spend the extra money.

i got my FIPK slightly used for about what it'd cost for a lid, filter, bellows, etc. i like the look, but wouldn't spend 250-300 on it til i'm makin a hell of a lot more money than i am now, lol.

I love my fipk. I payed around 250 dlls for mine too brand new and I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the filter element is beautifully trimmed with REAL Carbon Fiber. I just love the high-tech look of CF.
