Default Hvmc???

I want to get QTP headers, but i see alot of people mentioning the HVMC....Why so much.....i want to get the headers for $724 with no egr or air fittings.....Why does the HVMC cost $1200+???!!!!???!!!!!....Thats alot....what does it do.....how much a hp difference??thanks

good question, i jus got the edelbrock race headers which come with an hvmc. they are niccee

Alright well since no one knows why they are spending the extra $500 im just gonna get some race style QTP's for $724 and spend my left over $500 on something else..haha and if any is left over it will go towards the TA

they scavenge alot better which basically increases flow, or is increasing flow. Just like an X pipe vs H Pipe, the X usually produces more power but their raspy as hell, where as H sounds good.
I dont think their necessary unless your running a pretty nasty setup.

What he said I too am running the race QTP's and the quality is fantastic along with fitment. Great choice

Sorry I didn't reply more but I was walking out the door. I got them because I heard they flow better and give better gains over normal collectors. I'm not sure how much of a gain I would get over the normal collectors but I'll take what ever I can get
