Default best headers????????

what are the best shorty or mid-length headers for the price. i would go will LT's but i dont think they would fit in my third gen. thx

JBA's are probably the best shorty header, but you won't see much gain with them. Personally, I don't think they are worth the money. I would try and ask someone else with an IROC/ls1 hybrid if mid-lengths or LT's would fit.

hmmm... StainlessWorks makes those LS-1 street-rod headers. they might work for ya, plus they're stainless long tubes...

Shorties will give you a nice sound but wont do much for performance

If you have the L98, then this might help. I had a 1990 L98 Iroc-Z and I ran Hedman mid-length headers and their Y-pipe with a Jeg's cutout and a Flowmaster muffler and I dropped almost .2 seconds off my eigth mile time (it's the only track close). I ran a 8.83 with only an air foil, MSD coil and plug wires and K & N filters, then ran a 8.66 @ 88 mph after the exhaust install. Hope this helps

I would go with macs as well.
