How to gap plugs??
I am getting a set of NGK TR6 spark plugs to go along with the nitrous I am adding. And I have heard that gapping at .035 is the best. How do you gap the plugs? I have no idea. What does it mean? And is .035 the best??
Thanks,
Justin

You'd be suprised at the amount of people who know a lot of technical stuff and what not, but have no clue how to do some of the little things. Basically you bend the electrode (the little thing that hooks over the middle) to where the GAP is the desired measurement in inches. The little round tool is tapered and has numbers. You slide the plug on the circle until it stops. Then the number there is the gap of the plug. If it isn't what you want bend it and repeat.

Be gentle with the plugs dont drop them, and try not to ham hand the part that your bending , if you have a junk plug try it on that first this way you can get a feel for it . Hope this helps Good luck
