Default TSP 85mm Lid

How many of you guys are running the TSP 85mm lid? I'm going to run speed density and not use a mass air flow sensor, so how would I go about connecting the air lid to the TB?

Are you having problems with it?

Brian

i have a TSP 85mm lid
its "cheaply made"
but it gets the job done

it hasnt broke or bent out of shape

it fits very well

and i think its the only one ive seen so far

that has a funnel shape

and not a box and then funnel

dont know if that makes a difference,
but it was a big deal months ago
supposed to perform better than other lids

and its the only one i know that is 85mm

just wanted to clear things up

dont need people having the wrong ideas about great products.

for speed density,
i heard some people dont use the airbox at all,
but some other CRAZY ideas

think about the possibilities!

I'd like to know also. Is there a sleeve that someone has fiound to be the right diameter to go into the TSP lid to add a silicone coupler for SD ( eliminate the MAF)?

Surely someone has done this.

the fitment was very bad. i have a 85mm maf and a fast 90/tpis 90 setup. the angle that the lid comes down at is harsh compared to the straightness of the tb. i have not found a coupler that will make this bend and be long enough. it was so much nicer having the maf hook up to the lid with a coupler instead of direct to help out the angle a bit. if you know of a coupler that works it might make it a bit easier.
