Default Vibration after TR55's and Mounts

My 98 Z28 M6 had been getting bad gas mileage lately. I pulled the plugs and they were shot. I replaced the plugs with TR55's and installed MSD wires. Durring the test drive I heard a big CLUNCK while shifting hard into 2ed gear. I went home and put the car in the air. The trans mount had broken. I replaced it with a poly unit.

On a second test drive I felt a strong vibration above 1500 rpm. It happens in Neutral, with the clutch in, and with thing clutch out. Once again I put the car in the air and found a broken motor mount. I replaced the mounts with poly ones. I went out in the car this morning after a long night of installing mounts!!!!! and it STILL vibrates

the vibration is caused by the poly mounts - replace the tranny mount with a rubber one and 90% of the vibrations will go away

I just pulled off each plug wire individualy while the car was running. Each time the RPM's dropped slightly as normal, except for number 5 where the idle only slightly changed. Nothing was realy out of the ordinary.

I pulled the number 5 plug and it was white as if it was running lean. Then I pulled number 3 and it was the same. The white color on the ground could just be oxidation since they are brand new and have not became carbon coated yet. I gapped all plugs to .055, that is what I read on the forum in the past. What does everyone else gap their LS1's to?

Maybe something other than plugs/wires causing the poor gas mileage and vibrations. What other mods?

Mine is hardly noticeable at all until I hit 60mph and above...which is not that often so every day in town, it's fine...I have poly motor and trans mounts.

just a flowmaster and I took out the mass air screen. I haven't had this car long. I know f-bodies pretty well and I am sure this car is stock.

Alright, I removed the poly trans mount and the vibration went right away. I have had poly engine and trans mounts in the past with no problem.

HAHA

I wish I could have used a poly trans mount. The stock one sucks. My shifter just moves as it pleases when the motor is under load.
