Default 6.0 intake manifold?

is the 6.0 manifold and better/worse then a ls1/ls6 manifold???
any one ever tryed or thought about it??

the 6.0 manifold is designed for torque at lower rpms, plus i dont think it will fit under an f body cowl

From what I've read on here the LS6 manifold is better than the LS2. If your talking about the truck manifold it will not fit the f-body.

the one off the truck...so even with some cutting it's gonna fit??
cuz i wouldn't mind the extra torque....plus just wanna try something new..well atleast for me any how....

The 6.0l truck intake is the same as the 4.8l and 5.3l manifolds. They have the same part numbers. The truck intake will cost quite a bit of upper rpm power over the LS6 intakes. This topic has been hashed out on the truck side (pt.net). IMO swapping to a truck intake would be a hugh step backwards in performance. In short, not worth the effort.

I would lean towards the Ls6 route over that intake.

Truck intake will not fit on a Camaro/Firebird without some major surgery.
