Default true dual ??'s

im looking into getting a True dual setup and was wondering what the ideal setup is...... as for X or Y pipe and what is the common way of haveing it done like what mufflers or resonators?? i currantly have pacesetter LT's ORY and a magnaflow catback. i would like to keep the magnaflow tips tho. any help idea's are appretiated. thanks for the help.
on another note would be better to just get a cutout and put it in the I pipe??

Go with a dual exhaust set-up leaving the catalytic converters in place, with both pipes going down the passangers side of the car, go over the axle and through straight through, noise cancelling mufflers (one located on each side of the rear tub) then with both pipes going out from beneath the rear bumper in the stock locations. You will pick a good number of horses and torque (about 5% or about 15 horses), produce a nice muscle car sound with no roar or rumble or exhaust smell inside the car and all with much more ground clearance than you will ever get with any stupid "Y" pipe system.

i dont have any cats.. i was thinking of some pipes coming off the headers to a X pipe to a copuple resonators then out the back over the axle if possable. not sure if mufflers and resonators are the same thing do i need both or is it one or the other?

why not headers to two straight pipes, dual cut-outs, then back to your magnaflow..?

If you want them out the back id suggest having a well known credited exhaust shop fabricate them for you , or you can go with TSP duals dumped, and then run them out the back later. I have Tsp Duals and i personally like them alot. As for mufflers , there are alot of bullet style mufflers to choose from. Dynomax bullets and sweet thunder's tend to be the favorites among the TSP crowd.

i like my STs on my dumped duals. i do think im goin to either add cats or run it under the axle out the back. with how much i drive, it does get old cruisin around. but i love it soo much when i get on it.

I really really like the way my moroso spiral flows sound. I'm the only f-body in my town with duals so I havnt had the opportunity to hear other mufflers on duals but I got more compliments on the duals in 2 weeks than I ever did with my ory setup.

It seems like the most popular muffler on ls1tech is the Sweet Thunder.
