Default Should I Upgrade 2 A Fast 78mm Intake From A Ls1

still have the stock ls1 intake. should i just jump up 2 the fast 78mm intake over the ls6 intake. i figure i am upgrading anyway, why not go for the most gains correct. motor is staying stock. found a new fast 78mm for $635.00. since i am going from the stock ls1 is this the best direction 2 go in. i have done a search as well. also going with 3.73 gears soon, slp predetor tune. what kind of realalistc gains should i see with the addition of the fast intake + tune with my excisting mods. thanks for any help.

Dont forget about that new polished aluminum manifold that comes with TB and fuel rails IIRC. One more thing to look into.

I think I've seen the FATS90 for $725, only another $90.00.

78mm LSx is not a good investment unless you can pick one up for the same price as an LS6. You should go with the LS6, then re-sell it if you ever want a 90/90.

It would be better to just go with the ZO6 intake because it will be cheaper, and if you don't want that, the go with the 90mm setup......
