Awesome! My car sounds like absolute **** under throttle with the cutout open, I'm re-doing my brand new exhaust setup lol.

Do you have yours under the back seat? How do you like the sound?

Under the back seat, pointed outward and a tad down.

I think it sounds wicked and it really isnt that loud, I think I have heard LM's that have been louder.

are those #'s typical?

very good #'s in my opinion for the mods...you won't be able to find a value like that anywhere...well, I suppose that's why I've always owned camaros, huh?

The numbers depend on your exhaust setup. All of the different mufflers vary alot in flow. There is a few that flow great and there is very little gains. Like the Hooker catback, it's a great flowing system.

I have a hooker cb and a cut out. When I close the cut out....it gets way too quiet for me. Besides, I can really feel the difference in performance.

yea i could see that magnaflow doing something to the numbers, taking about 5 off wouldnt be that bad of a guess...but 8 is good for 30 bucks....thats what is keeping me from getting a catback...i get good enough numbers from my cutout right now....until i get headers and a true dual setup

I just put one on. Sounds great at WOT, but, it is killing my gas mileage. Can't keep my foot out of it now. $60 vs ~$450 for catback, no contest. I didn't do the electric motor thing yet, and not sure I will. In 5th gear it is not that loud usually, so I don't need to be opening and closing. Plus, my 2 yr old loves it - thinks its a carnival ride now. Wife hates it but other than that, it is one of the best things I have done for my car!!
