How much gain from ls6 intake and pulley
How much hp gain would a basically stock 98 6-speed see from ls6 intake and underdrive pulley? How easy are they to install? Is the slp pulley better than usp? Would it be worth getting a tune? The car has 130k so I though a dyno tune may be able to adjust for some wear.

I went from 310 rwhp and 317 rwtq with lid and catback to 345 rwhp and 352 rwtq by putting on Long tubes (Stainless Works with catted Y pipe), a LS6 intake, and ported throttle body.
When I put the cam in, I also added an ASP pulley, but since it was installed together with the cam, I couldn't tell you how much the pulley by itself was worth.

I considered headers but since I want to keep cats the cheapest route would be MAC or Jet Hot. With parts, labor & tune it's at least $1500 for about 20hp. I'd rather due the intake manifold and pulley for less than half that cost since I can do it myself. Eventually I'll do exhaust.

Are pacesetters a good fit and how much of a bitch is the install without a lift. My car has 130k so I'm sure there are some frozen bolts. I've heard nightmare stories about fitting LT's and having leaks.

Pacesetters fit just fine and install is not hard at all. I did mine in the garage on stands, by myself. Piece of cake and definetly a good difference. Also just installed a SLP ud pulley went on okay, and definetly a noticably difference inthe way the motor revs.

Cool. Thanks everyone for the opinions. Since my car is parked for the Wisconsin winter this is a good time to start working on it. Maybe I'll just go ahead and do LT's, intake and pulley all at the same time. I'd be really happy with 50rwhp if that's possible. Thanks again.

its possible but I highly suggest a pcm tune to take full advantage of the LT's and get rid of any trouble codes
