Default Do i have to use o2 sims?

doing LT install, do i need o2 sims ? will the car run like crap if i dont or will only a light come on?

your SES light will come on for cat inefficiency.

You can also have the codes tuned out. It's will definatly prevent the SES light, and usually be cheaper. You can also get EGR/AIR deleted as well.

I don't think they are selling o2 sims anymore. i am pretty sure that they stoped selling them because of emissions. i could be wrong though, anyone kow for sure?

i am not sure, i saw a thread a while back about thunder racing( i think) that they could no longer sell sims because of emissions. i think in some states instead of the sniffer they just read your codes and people with sims were passing.

Delete the codes. It is cheaper that route.

i plan on tuning the car about a month after install of LT and ORY... will the car run bad cause of this until that time?

depends. some do some don't. my car ran good. i drove around for 9 months with out a tune. after the tune thou the car felt way different.

The car will not run any different if the SES light is on or not. After the tune, the car will run better, but only because they are going to change fuel/spark. If you can drive the car with the SES light on for a month, don't worry about O2 sims and save some dough.
